Fur-Eh! would like to extend a warm welcome for you to join us for our annual Xmas Xtravaganza on December 21, 2024, at the Edgemont Community Association at 33 Edgevalley Circle NW, Calgary, Alberta, from 10:00 AM until midnight, where we’ll be celebrating the holidays with food, music, games, and of course photos with Santa!
Tickets are $25, plus GST, and must be purchased in advance, while quantities last. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.
Please note that NO PHYSICAL TICKETS ARE MAILED OUT TO YOU. Instead, an email with your ticket (or tickets) and a QR code (or QR codes) will be emailed to the email address that you used to purchase your tickets, upon successful payment. If you have not received an email with your tickets or QR codes, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find them, please feel free to email us at general@fureh.ca with your name and, if you know it, your order number, and we will send the email again.
And, if all else fails and you can’t print or show us the QR Code on your phone at the door, we will still be able to look up your confirmed purchase manually, so no need to worry!
EVENT DETAILS
While we plan on hosting several fun events at the Xmas Xtravaganza, there is always room for more! We welcome anyone interested in hosting a panel or event at the Xmas Xtravaganza to click the box below to submit a programming application so that we can review it and see if we can make it work.
In addition, we encourage those interested in vending at the Xmas Xtravaganza to fill out a dealer application by clicking the box below. It costs only $20 (in addition to cost of admission) and includes an 8′ long, 30″ deep table, located in the main hall of the event.
MINORS: Guests must be 16 years old or older in order to attend the Xmas Xtravaganza and must be 18 years old or older in order to purchase and consume alcohol. If you are under 16 years old, you may attend with an accompanying, paying parent or guardian.
50/50 DRAW & CHARITY PARTNER: Our Charity Partner, GEARS, will be offering a 50/50 draw for the evening. We encourage you to support them by purchasing tickets! In addition, you are welcome to donate directly to GEARS at the event. Let’s show them the legendary generosity of Fur-Eh!’s Guests!
CAILAN’S KITCHEN: Cailan is returning, offering delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages at reasonable prices. The FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST will begin soon after opening, running until we run out of food! You ARE permitted to bring outside food to this event, including using food delivery services.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Please note that due to AGLC regulations, you are NOT permitted to bring your own alcoholic beverages to this event. We will have a cash bar operating.
THALL’S Liquor Trough: All drinks are 1 ticket. Tickets are $5 each and are available at the Fur-Eh! Merchandise Table. A selection of beer, hard seltzer, cider, cocktails, and highballs will be available. Irish Cream with coffee will be available until noon. BE PREPARED TO SHOW YOUR GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID.
CANNABIS CONSUMPTION: City of Calgary bylaws do not permit the smoking or consumption of cannabis or cannabis products in public. The use of cannabis, in any form, is not permitted. Medical Cannabis is not affected, and those with a proper prescription may consume cannabis in adherence to existing smoking bylaws.
SOUVENIR MERCHANDISE: Some of Fur-Eh!’s most popular limited-edition souvenirs will be on sale at the Fur-Eh! Merchandise Table. Cash, debit, and credit cards are all accepted.
DEALERS MARKETPLACE: selection of Vendors will be on-hand, offering a range of unique services and merchandise! It’s a great way to shop for some last-minute gifts for someone special, or to just treat yourself!
PROGRAMMING: A full slate of programming will be starting as early as 11:00 AM, including Fursuit Games, free photos with Santa, our gingerbread house building contest (an entry fee of $7), and much more!
VOLUNTEERS: Putting on the Xmas Xtravaganza is no small feat, but many hands make light work! Volunteers are the lifeblood of Fur-Eh!, and this event is no exception. We require people for everything from setup and tear-down to registration to hosting events and raffles, and much more. Please consider lending a hand for a couple hours (or more!) if you are able, and we would be grateful! Just email us at general@fureh.ca and we can get the ball rolling.
NOTES: We reserve the right to refuse entry and/or alcohol service. While Fur-Eh! accepts cash, debit, and credit cards, individual Vendors’ payment methods may vary. There is no ATM on site.
