Fur-Eh! is excited to present Fur-Eh! 2025 – Retro Barkade, taking place at the Wyndham Hotel & Conference Center and the Delta South Conference Centre, July 17-20th 2025, in Edmonton, AB, Canada.
RegisterFur-Eh! is Alberta’s first furry convention, held annually in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Now one of Canada’s largest anthropomorphic conventions, each year furries from around the world gather in Edmonton to celebrate the anthropomorphic fandom and culture, raise money for charity, and share their love for everything anthropomorphic. Our theme for 2025 is Retro Barkade, it’s no secret that furries love video games, and we’re going old school to celebrate where it all began. We saw an amazing 1964 attendees in 2024, raising a total of $19,000 for charity!
Fur-Eh! is pleased to welcome back the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) as our charity partner for 2025! We are consistantly pleasantly surprised by the outstanding generosity of our wonderful guests who donate to our charity. In 2024 we raised $9,000 for GEARS, and we look forward to help raise funds for them so they can continue to help dogs and cats in need.
The Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society was formed in 2013 to help injured, abandoned, unwanted, and homeless animals in the Edmonton area. Compassion motivates us to help, heal, and alleviate the pain of the animals we encounter. GEARS is a non-profit organization that relies on a network of donors, volunteers and foster homes working together to give companion animals a second chance at their forever family. With high standards of practice and charitable status, GEARS sets an example in our community.

Having parents who specialize in the art field, Ookami, spent most of his early years drawing instead of doing his homework. Mostly self-taught in pencil & ink techniques, he studied the basics of drawing anatomy by watching various cartoons & reading Japanese mangas. His illustrations soon reached numerous published children’s books, CD covers, television, and game magazines. Later, he found a talent for both stop motion and cell animation. Ookami graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, soon after his furry graphic novel Concealment was published by Rabbit Valley.
