2025 is Retro Barkade!

The neon lights are glowing, the joysticks are ready, and the furry fun is set to blast off! Step back in time to the golden age of arcades with Retro Barkade! From pixel-perfect nostalgia to high-score shenanigans, our convention floor is where 8-bit dreams come true. The fur-tastic adventure begins July 17-20, 2025, at the Wyndham Hotel & Conference Center and the Delta South Conference Centre

Get ready for an epic weekend packed with awesome Guests of Honor, electrifying events, and panels that’ll power up your fandom. Whether you’re smashing buttons or just soaking in the retro vibes, there’s something for every player at Retro Barkade!

Our Charity

Fur-Eh! is pleased to welcome back the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) as our charity partner for 2025! We are consistantly pleasantly surprised by the outstanding generosity of our wonderful guests who donate to our charity. In 2024 we raised $9,000 for GEARS, and we look forward to help raise funds for them so they can continue to help dogs and cats in need.

The Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society was formed in 2013 to help injured, abandoned, unwanted, and homeless animals in the Edmonton area. Compassion motivates us to help, heal, and alleviate the pain of the animals we encounter. GEARS is a non-profit organization that relies on a network of donors, volunteers and foster homes working together to give companion animals a second chance at their forever family. With high standards of practice and charitable status, GEARS sets an example in our community.

CorgiCam

Twitch’s Stumpiest Corgi VTuber and emote salesman, Corgi is a full-time, extremely tall, and partnered furry content creator on Twitch.tv with over 10 years streaming-experience! Corgi’s focus has always been on community and chat interaction, providing a safe space for all, and new, fun, and innovative ways for viewers to participate in streams!

Ookami

Having parents who specialize in the art field, Ookami, spent most of his early years drawing instead of doing his homework. Mostly self-taught in pencil & ink techniques, he studied the basics of drawing anatomy by watching various cartoons & reading Japanese mangas. His illustrations soon reached numerous published children’s books, CD covers, television, and game magazines. Later, he found a talent for both stop motion and cell animation. Ookami graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, soon after his furry graphic novel Concealment was published by Rabbit Valley. Check out Ookami’s work at
